Backgrounds for beadwork?

My talented friend Vernon Sims has been playing with a fractal program and sent me these two images, which he thinks might make good backgrounds for beadwork. I don't know - the red one in particular is so rich that I might print it out and just sit there staring at it and salivating. It almost seems criminal to cover part of it with beads. What I'm wondering is whether beads could enhance it at all.

  1. The 'fabric' pics are BEAUTIFUL! And I could see beads on them!! Wow! I'd print out and transfer to fabric and get started!! Hope you do something with them! I'll keep checking!

  2. Your experiments with velvet, wood, and glass backgrounds are so helpful! As someone who juggles art and science, I find it fascinating how visual presentation overlaps both worlds. When I take my online chemistry class, even digital background design in the platform affects my learning mood. This blog post gave me some unexpected but valuable insight—thank you!

  3. Those fractal backgrounds sound amazing especially the rich red one! It’s true, some designs are so captivating that you almost don’t want to cover them up. But adding beads might create a stunning 3D effect that brings the artwork to life. Kind of like finding the perfect balance between beauty and function, just like choosing the best backpacks Canada that look great and work perfectly for everyday adventures.
