The blog may look different from day to day as I fiddle with the settings, trying to persuade the thing to show exactly what I want it to show and make it legible. This seems like a good time to do that since I expect both of my loyal readers have given up on me in the past couple of years, so nobody's going to be discombobulated if the labels list suddenly bursts into flames or a dragon pokes his head through the middle of the latest post.
My eyes were burning when I saw your name pop up in my blog reader!!! Haven't heard from you in ages....you know you were the person who got me started with bead embroidery! I still have and cherish your book, Embeadery, and use it SO often. It is and will always remain one of my go to books that will 'go' with me everywhere!!! Now off to put some eye wash in my eyes! It really is you!!
ReplyDeleteHere's your other faithful reader - lol. I too had a visceral reaction - about fell off my chair when my feed reader registered a new post from you. I didn't have time to read it through right then and by the time I did and then clicked over to welcome you back to the blogging world, that post was gone. :-( Now I know why. What a terrible couple of years you've had but so glad you are back and I'm looking forward to what you have to share with us. I too love your bead embroidery technique and rue that I have not gotten a copy of your book for referencing.
ReplyDeleteWow! Thank you both for the welcome back! I was joking about my "two faithful readers," I really expected everybody had left after I fell off the edge of the world a couple of years ago.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to be back.
